Meghan Hovee

Founder & CPA

Fun Fact: I am a twin, but we are complete opposites! I could sometimes beat him at wrestling when we were little, but don't tell him I said that…

After graduating from Rockhurst University and earning her CPA in 2014, Meghan launched her career at Deloitte. But it didn’t take long for her to realize that small businesses in Kansas City needed more than just tax prep—they needed strategic financial guidance.

In 2015, she founded Hovee & Co to deliver exactly that.

Today, her team empowers local business owners with outsourced CFO services that go beyond compliance, helping them build smarter, stronger companies.

Meghan has a passion for walking alongside business owners as they navigate the day-to-day realities of compliance, operations, and strategic growth. She’s known for building strong relationships and offering thoughtful guidance rooted in both professional expertise and personal care.

Fueled by the belief that “success without fulfillment is failure” (Tony Robbins), Meghan launched Hovee & Co with her tech-savvy husband by her side. Since then, the firm—and her family—have grown.

She’s now mom to four boys and two dogs, and while life is full, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Prior to working in Kansas City, Rachel worked at a publicly traded retailer in San Francisco. The main reason Rachel joined Hovee & Co was because of the emphasis the firm places on relationships.
